R.E.F.L.E.C.T.I.O.N Recently I've been reflecting on the EDC Performamce Expo and wondering why it was such an amazing event for everyone involved. From the logistics, sessions, student participation, camaraderie and safety. Everything went off without an issue or hiccup. Why? I think ultimately it came down to having like-minded individuals involved who understood both the importance and significance of being preppared. Everyone there was looking to improve themselves in order to lift up others. How often do you clean your mags? I really only clean mine once I start to get FTF or when they look like this, which is rare due to my range environment. A simple magazine brush can be a life saver if you have finicky mags. I've had success with Glock OEM, @shield.arms and @magpul . I recommend them highly. I've had constant issues with a certain clear mag pushed by the influencers 😏 so don't be influenced! One of the drills from the @modern_samurai_project course this past week. In the first iteration I just wanted to get my hits. The next two had me going faster (90/10 on all three) to see if I could do it. First two targets are about 1 yard apart and the third target is about 6 yards from the second. Shooter starts on target one with finger on trigger. Dryfire can be beneficial but it can also hurt your performance if not done correctly. Here I explain an often overlooked piece of dryfire...trigger reset. Some triggers will reset on their own.
