Hey there, I'm Scott and I'm passionate about helping people become proficient in self-defense. With over 15 years of experience, nine instructor certifications, and over 900 hours of handgun training, I have the skills and expertise to guide you towards reaching your full potential.
I founded Advent Training in 2020 after becoming frustrated with other training courses. My aim is to provide personalized classes that cater to your unique needs, as I believe there is no "one size fits all" approach when it comes to self-defense.

As an analyst by profession and personality, I am data-driven and find it to be the most efficient and quickest way to a solution. I have trained with some of the best instructors in the industry, and I understand that training is an investment of both time and money.
Unlike cookie-cutter teaching methods that fail to acknowledge individual skill levels, I strive to tailor instruction to each student's needs. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to reach their full potential, and that's what drives me to seek out every handgun owner and help them achieve their goals.
