DEFENSE OF A 3RD PARTY
This course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively respond to situations where the defense of others is required. This dynamic three-hour block of instruction combines insights into verbal commands, situational awareness training, and physical readiness exercises. Participants will delve into analytical considerations surrounding third-party defense, enhance their situational awareness, and develop physical capabilities to create a safe and effective response.
Prerequisites: The shooting focus is one handed and it is recommended to be familiar with this skill (both support and strong hand) to control the recoil with one hand. We will be using kettlebells so it is slightly physical. Students should be able to safely and effectively hold a 10lbs kettlebell parallel to the ground while shooting with the opposite hand. While holding the kettlebell they should be able to hit a B8 repair center from 10 yards 10 times without a time limit.
Required Equipment:
Be sure to bring your Concealed Carry setup for this block of instruction. We recommend you use your EDC handgun, holster and concealment location to get solid instruction for your individual situation. If you are security or law enforcement bring your work setup.

Scott Garcia started Advent Training in 2020 as a result of being frustrated with other training courses. His classes are not cookie-cutter and he tailors his classes to you. See the " About Us
