This is a time to get to know me, my teaching philosophy and advent training alumni. It is also to provide an opportunity to get a good practice session in. All welcome regardless of skill level. We will be providing all the range equipment (target stands, backers, targets, shot timers, cones, etc.). This isn't just any old shooting event though- as this will be conducted safely without drills officially setup unless attendees want them...so please respect other people’s preferences while attending

Pre-requisites: None. However, since this is not an official course, the attendee will need to be self aware of all firearm safety rules and abide by them at all times.

Length: 4 hours.

Location: The Farm Training Center. Fairfield, Utah. Roughly one week before the event date an email will be sent to notify which bay and where to park.

Event Start Time: 2:00 PM. Come and go as you please but arrive no later than 5:00 PM in order to get a good practice session in and to have a safety brief. We will end at 6:00 PM.

• Open Mind
• Handgun
• 50 rounds of reliable ammunition. This is the minimum suggested amount. Bring as much as you want to get a good practice session in.
• Handgun Holster (Leather, shoulder, cross-draw or SERPA holsters are PROHIBITED)
• 2 magazines (Bring more if you have them, especially if you have a single stack).
• Sturdy belt for holster.
• Notepad and pen (Take Notes!)
• Sharpie or Marker.
• Eye and Ear Protection (electronic ear protection is preferred)
• Shoes or boots, no open toe or sandals
• Seasonal weather gear (i.e. rain, cold). We shoot rain or shine.
• Range appropriate attire. No low cut shirts.
• Water/Drinks. Bring more than you think you will need. The Range has no facilities but does have a Porta Potty.

Recommended Equipment:

• Snacks
• Brimmed Hat
• Sunblock
• Gun Cleaning Kit and Lubrication for Handgun
• Medical IFAK suggested but not required
• Magazine Holster

Event Capacity: Max of 15.

By completing the checkout process and signing up for this event, you agree that:

You have no physical infirmity that is a contraindication to firearms training, moving over uneven ground or being exposed to the weather, sun, rain, dust or other environmental exposures that may be encountered during this event.

You understand, and are fully aware, that there are many inherent risks and hazards associated with using any firearms related equipment. You know full well that by participating in this activity you may be seriously injured or killed, even if you do nothing wrong. You expressly assume all such risks.

You understand that this event involves the use of live ammunition.

You understand that as a participant in this event, you will be responsible for any equipment that you may be required to supply. You understand that you should choose to bring and use reliable and reputable equipment.

Before participating, all shooters will need to complete and sign the provided Range & Event Waiver. This will be sent out shortly after registration and is required for all prior to joining.
